El cordobés Julio César Domínguez (14-1, 10 ko) derrotó por nocaut en el tercer round al bonaerense Cristian La Máscara Leal (12-3-2, 6 ko), en la pelea de fondo realizada en el club Huracán. De este modo, el mediopesado se recuperó de la derrota sufrida frente a Gustavo Kapusi, en abril. Leal había arrancado bien, utilizando el jab y buscando contragolpear a Domínguez. Pero el cordobés, de mejor pegada que La Máscara, fue al frente y arrinconó a su rival en el tercero: lo conmovió con una serie de izquierdas y el Pelado se fue a la lona, para que el árbitro Roldán decrete el final. En otros combates de la velada promocional: Arturo Gerez GP 6 Marcelo Miranda (welter); Leandro La Lepra Almagro GP 4 Leandro Soperez (superpluma); Sergio Escobar GP 4 Juan Funes (liviano) y Walter Cuenca GP 4 Pablo Battista (superliviano).
